Safety

We’re very proud of our safety record, and our goal is zero preventable incidents. We’ve been successful in achieving that most years by encouraging a culture of working safely and by preplanning for safety as we believe most accidents are preventable. Our safety plans are tailored to each unique project – to accommodate the specific hazards in each project.

Our Safety Manager, Cory White, is a journeyman electrician who worked in many areas of the industry prior to getting his NCSO giving him a working perspective on safety. He leads our safety program which includes:

• Safety orientations
• Effective safety training and monitoring
• A program of recognition and reward
• A safety committee comprised of members from all areas of our organization who strive for continuous improvement
• Well maintained safety equipment
• Annual internal audits
• Regular external audits

Allied is a current member of ISNetworld, and we have our Certificate of Recognition (COR) through the Alberta Construction Safety Association.
